Cibus acquires a substantial portfolio of Danish grocery stores

Cibus has acquired a portfolio of 31 grocery store properties in Denmark from the Danish pension fund ATP Ejendomme A/S for DKK 879 million. Plesner provided legal counsel to Cibus throughout the entire process.

The portfolio comprises 31 grocery store properties across Denmark, featuring strong tenant representation from well-established brands such as Salling Group, Coop, and Rema 1000. Spanning a GLA of approximately 33,200 sqm, the portfolio was acquired from the Danish pension fund ATP Ejendomme A/S for DKK 879 million. The acquisition is structured as three separate transactions, with 22 properties already transferred to Cibus, while the remaining assets are scheduled for transfer in Q1 2025.

Plesner provided comprehensive legal support throughout the acquisition process, including the structuring and negotiation of the contractual framework with the seller.
