Defence and National Security

Practice area
With security threats and modern warfare constantly evolving, companies within the Defence and National Security sector face both opportunities and unprecedented challenges, increasing the need to have knowledge of procurement procedures and to ensure compliance with complex national and international regulations.

Global political developments in recent years have intensified the focus on military security and the demand for a more robust and high-tech Danish defence. The Danish Parliament has consequently entered into a defence agreement with a financial framework of DKK 190 billion until 2033, which will drive significant investments in various industries directly or indirectly connected to defense.

In the coming years, the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation ("DALO") will tender large contracts, ranging from service and maintenance to procurement of various goods and IT systems.

To support clients navigating the complexities of the defence sector, Plesner has a dedicated Defence and National Security team of highly specialised lawyers with broad expertise.
