Plesner advises on sale of attractive property in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen

Plesner has advised a company managed by CBRE Investment Management on the sale of a company owning a newly built property of approximately 14,000 sqm at Mariendalsvej 55-57 in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. The buyer is Hines European Core Fund whose focus on the Nordic market has increased by its fourth acquisition in Denmark in two years.

The property consists of 50 common residential leases and 38 student accommodation leases (with 174 rooms), two commercial leases and 75 underground parking spaces. The buildings were completed in 2019 and adhere to the Nordic building traditions of simple and modern lines and are situated in Frederiksberg, known for its many parks and green spots. All residential leases have a terrasse, and the property also has a roof terrace.

One commercial space is leased by Fitness World, while the other commercial space has been leased to take-away food supplier Food Family. The property is situated in a very attractive area close to Copenhagen Business School and the University of Copenhagen, among others. 
Plesner assisted the company on all legal aspects of the transaction, including the preparation of the transaction, the due diligence process and the preparation and negotiation of transaction documents.
