Tina Brøgger Sørensen
Tina is a partner in Plesner's Employment and Labour Law team and is also involved in complex matters related to the Danish data protection legislation.
Tina has extensive experience in different employment law cases involving discrimination, business transfers, IPOs, incentive programmes, redundancies in connection with restructuring, efficiency improvements and business closures, as well as senior management issues.
When it comes to matters related to the processing of personal data, Tina advises on, for example, drafting and implementation of data protection documents, assessment of employers' various obligations under the GDPR, rules on the control of employees, obligations in relation to investigations cases, advice on personal data breaches and assistance in all communication with the Danish Data Protection Agency, and on disputes.
Tina is admitted to the High Courts of Denmark.
She represents business clients before the Danish Board of Equal Treatment and has been an advisor in several cases of general public importance, one of which was referred to the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Tina is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and has been an IAPP-approved official instructor of CIPP/E training courses for several years.
In addition, Tina is an experienced speaker at conferences and has produced a large number of podcasts, articles and newsletters on employment and data protection law issues.
Tina has been a co-author of books on the annotated Danish Whistleblower Act and on compliance for practitioners.
Currently, Tina is a member of the board of directors of the Association of Danish Law Firms.
