GoMore acquires Getaround Europe and becomes European market leader in peer-to-peer car sharing

GoMore, a Danish peer-to-peer car sharing platform, has acquired the European operations of Getaround, creating the largest peer-to-peer car sharing platform in Europe. The acquisition more than doubles GoMore's business, resulting in a combined platform with over five million users, 70,000 active shared cars and activities in 11 countries across Europe.

The acquisition is financed by a combination of equity, primarily from existing investors, and loan capital from EIFO and Nordea.
