Gebr. Heinemann secures 10 year concession agreement with Scandlines

Plesner acted as local legal advisor to Gebr. Heinemann in connection with a 10-year concession agreement with Scandlines concerning the BorderShops in Puttgarden and Rostock, Germany, and the Travel Shops onboard the six ferries operated by the Danish-German ferry company.
With the concession agreement, Gebr. Heinemann and Scandlines further strengthen their long-standing partnership. Until now, Gebr. Heinemann has supplied the BorderShops and Travel Shops of Scandlines with a wide assortment of products. Under the concession agreement Gebr. Heinemann will take over the management of the BorderShops and onboard Travel Shops, with the aim of further enhancing the shopping and travel experience for customers and passengers.
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
