Emerson acquires Mita-Teknik
Mita-Teknik has since 1969 produced control automation for various industries, including the wind industry since the 1980s. Today, Mita-Teknik is a leader in the control automation business for wind power generation, equipping wind turbines and wind farms with technologies for optimal performance and reliability, and more than 60,000 wind turbines worldwide are controlled and monitored by Mita-Teknik's solutions.
Emerson, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri (USA) and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, is a global technology and engineering company providing innovative solutions for customers in industrial, commercial and residential markets.
The acquisition of Mita-Teknik advances Emerson's environmental sustainability framework. In particular, the addition of Mita-Teknik's renewable expertise and technologies to Emerson's power generation capabilities will help power customers accelerate their digital transformation to smarter and more sustainable operations.
