EPC Wraps - What Is the Price of Risk?

Plesner is delighted to invite you to another round of Energy for Breakfast taking place on 5 November 2026.

Plesner invites you to join us for the next Energy for Breakfast, where we will explore the commercial and legal considerations behind EPC wraps.

An EPC wrap can give a project a clearer allocation of responsibility, but it comes at a price. How do contractors assess and price the risks they take on? Which contract terms matter most to that assessment? How are grid capacity delays and war-related price adjustment mechanisms addressed in the contract? And what does the investment case for an EPC wrap look like from an equity perspective?

Speakers from the contracting, legal and investment communities will share their perspectives on these questions. There will also be opportunities to exchange views and connect with others working across the energy sector.
