Tina Brøgger Sørensen
In employment law, legal expertise cannot stand alone. In addition to taking clients' commercial interests into account, it is essential to be able to navigate often highly sensitive and conflict-driven environments, including, for example, whistleblower matters. In such cases, Tina works closely with clients to ensure that the approach is not driven by legal considerations alone but also takes account of the broader commercial and practical context.
Tina has a master's degree in law from Aarhus University.
Tina is admitted to the High Courts of Denmark.
Tina is an experienced speaker at conferences and has produced a large number of podcasts, articles and newsletters on employment and data protection law issues.
In addition, Tina has been a co-author of books on the annotated Danish Whistleblower Act and on compliance for practitioners.
Currently, Tina is a member of the board of directors of the Association of Danish Law Firms.
Tina and the team are very conscious of the importance of teamwork and clear understanding of the clients' challenges and dilemmas on all matters related to their employees.
For instance, employers will inevitably process personal data relating to their employees. Consequently, close collaboration with colleagues in Plesner's GDPR team is essential, among other things, to ensure that employment law and data protection considerations are addressed in a coordinated manner.
Together with great colleagues, Tina advises on, for example, drafting and implementation of data protection documents, assessment of employers' various obligations under the GDPR, rules on the control of employees, obligations in relation to investigation cases, advice on personal data breaches and assistance in all communication with the Danish Data Protection Agency, and on disputes.
