General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. sells four MQ-9B Unmanned Aircraft Systems to Denmark via the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA)
Under the framework agreement, NSPA has procured four MQ-9B Unmanned Aircraft Systems and related services on behalf of Denmark from GA-ASI.
The acquisition of the MQ-9B Unmanned Aircraft Systems is a part of Denmark's increased surveillance efforts in the Arctic and North Atlantic areas.
GA-ASI, based in Poway, California, USA, is the world's foremost developer and manufacturer of Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
NSPA, based in Luxembourg, is a NATO agency that provides acquisition and logistics support to NATO, member countries, allies, partner countries, and other international organizations.
Plesner has, in close collaboration with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman assisted GA-ASI with the negotiations and conclusion of the framework agreement with NSPA and the sale of the four MQ-9B Unmanned Aircraft Systems to Denmark via NSPA.
Plesner is proud to have assisted GA-ASI with this landmark framework agreement with NSPA, which forms the basis for future sales of MQ-9B Unmanned Aircraft Systems to NATO member countries, as well as the sale of four MQ-9B Unmanned Aircraft Systems to Denmark.
