EW HealthCare Partners acquires Visiopharm
The acquisition strengthens Grundium’s position within digital pathology by combining advanced imaging technology with AI-driven pathology software to create a broader offering for laboratories, researchers and healthcare providers. The integrated platform is intended to support more efficient and scalable pathology workflows across diagnostics, translational research and life sciences.
Grundium develops digital pathology scanners and imaging solutions for healthcare, research and educational environments, with a focus on compact and accessible technologies designed to facilitate wider adoption of digital pathology.
Visiopharm develops AI-enabled software for tissue image analysis and precision pathology used within diagnostics, translational research and biopharmaceutical development. The company serves customers globally and has established a strong market position within AI-powered digital pathology.
Together, the combined capabilities of Grundium and Visiopharm will support a broad range of clinical and research applications, including biomarker analysis and clinical development programmes.
