IIP Denmark raises new buyout fund and new venture fond with total commitments of DKK 15bn

IIP Denmark has announced the closing of their fifth buyout fund-of-funds, IIP Private Funds V, and their second venture fund-of-funds, IIP Venture II, with a total commitment from PKA of DKK 15bn. Plesner's Private Investment Funds team advised IIP Denmark on all phases of the structuring and formation of the fund.

IIP Denmark is an alternative investment platform for institutional investors with a focus on global investments in private investment funds. Following the closing of the two new funds, PKA's total commitments to IIP Denmark amounts to around DKK 82bn. IIP is owned by the pension fund PKA, which manages pension funds for health care professionals, including nurses, pharmaconomists and social workers.

The closing of IIP Private Funds V and IIP Venture II marks IIP Denmark and PKA's strong cooperation and continues IIP Denmark's two successful strategies. IIP Denmark expects to invest DKK 13bn in buyout funds and DKK 2bn in venture funds during the next three years. Both funds have global investment strategies focused primarily on American and European buyout funds and early-stage venture funds.
