Plesner Forum for Digital Regulation

A single business decision, such as deploying an AI tool, onboarding a cloud vendor, or launching a data-driven product, triggers obligations under multiple regulatory regimes simultaneously. GDPR, the AI Act, NIS2, the CRA, DORA, the Data Act: digital regulation does not arrive at one rule at a time, and the organisations that manage it well are the ones that have learned to see it whole.

Compliance with digital regulation rarely has a single owner. Depending on the organisation, it sits with privacy, information security, general compliance, or legal. Yet the decisions it shapes require a 360-degree view.

Knowing the regulatory landscape is the starting point. The harder question is how you build governance that actually works inside your organisation - and how you translate regulatory obligations into operational decisions, concrete structures, and practices that hold up.

Format

The network will consist of a series of events

Each session includes:

  • Latest regulatory updates  
    • Overview of EU digital regulatory legislation relevant for Denmark
  • Discussions of concrete topics from a multidisciplinary perspective, drawing on expertise from several legal practice areas within Plesner
    • Practical insights into approach of other organisations
    • External and internal speakers/panelists
  • Networking 

Sessions are theme / use case-driven and may for example concern cloud, AI, third-party management, incident reporting etc. 

Each session runs 3 × 45 minutes. Sessions qualify for 3 course credits under the Danish Bar Association (Advokatsamfundet)
