Sofie Stemann Falkenberg

Sofie advises on litigation and arbitration proceedings, including both commercial and investment arbitration. Her practice covers matters relating to the law of property and obligations, with a particular focus on general tort law, contract law, and expropriation.

Sofie specialises in international arbitration. She received a prize for her master's thesis on joinder in international arbitration and has published articles in the field. Sofie has participated in the London Summer Arbitration School and the Paris Arbitration Academy, where she was awarded a prize for her essay on soft law in international arbitration.

Sofie has taught the course Arbitration and Mediation in Commercial Disputes at the University of Copenhagen.

Sofie is part of Plesner's mentoring team for the annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

Sofie holds a degree from the University of Copenhagen and did an exchange programme at Harvard University.
