Kiki Heesakker Johansen

Kiki advises on all aspects of the Danish FDI regime throughout the transaction process, from early-stage assessments and transaction planning to the preparation and submission of filings to the Danish Business Authority and support throughout the review process. Her advice covers the FDI implications of acquisitions, minority investments and associated governance rights, greenfield investments, internal restructurings and special financial agreements, including certain joint ventures and long-term supplier, operating and service agreements.

In cross-border transactions, Kiki conducts multi-jurisdictional FDI assessments and coordinates filing strategies across relevant jurisdictions, supporting clients in managing timing and execution risk.

Kiki also advises on the application of the FSR to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and public procurement procedures. Her work includes assessing foreign financial contributions and notification and declaration requirements, as well as assisting with the preparation and submission of notifications and declarations to the European Commission.

Kiki has prior experience in M&A and private equity transactions, giving her a strong understanding of transaction structures, transaction planning, the commercial context and the parties' commercial objectives and priorities.

Kiki has a Master's degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen. She is fluent in Danish, Dutch and English.
