Orkla Foods acquires TC Brød
TC Brød is a family-owned Danish bakery company with production in Krogager. Over more than 35 years, the company has built a strong position within laminated dough and seasonal bake-off products. In 2025, TC Brød generated revenues of approximately DKK 116 million. The company employs around 30 people and serves leading retail and foodservice customers in Denmark.
Orkla Foods is a European food company built around strong, locally rooted brands across the Nordics, the Baltics and Central Europe. Orkla Foods operates across more than ten markets and 32 factories, has around 5,300 employees and generates more than NOK 20 billion in annual revenues. Orkla Foods is owned by Orkla ASA, listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
With the acquisition of TC Brød, Orkla Foods builds upon its existing bakery position in Denmark.
The transaction is subject to approval by the Danish competition authorities.
