Gentis is a consultancy firm with 15 years of experience building a scalable platform across Belgium, France and Luxembourg, with more than 270 consultants engaged on assignments with long-standing clients across these markets.
emagine, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, serves more than 500 enterprise clients globally, with approximately 5,000 consultants on active assignments across 15 countries and a professional network of over 500,000 specialists worldwide.
With the acquisition of Gentis' consulting business, emagine expands its European presence into Belgium and Luxembourg while further strengthening its position in France. The acquisition also enhances emagine's ability to deliver nearshore and offshore services to an existing client base in new markets, while improving access to highly qualified specialists across geographies.
Axcel is a leading Nordic private equity firm with total committed capital of more than EUR 4.1 billion across seven funds.
The transaction was completed on 9 April 2026.
Plesner has once again acted as lead legal counsel to Axcel and emagine, continuing its role across numerous previous add-on transactions completed by emagine since 2021.
