Copilot Capital acquires Danish SaaS company PriceShape

Case News
Copilot Capital ("Copilot"), a UK private equity fund investing in European software champions, has acquired PriceShape. The deal marks Copilot's second transaction in the Danish market after the acquisition of Relesys earlier this year. Plesner advised Copilot on both the acquisition of PriceShape and the acquisition of Relesys.

PriceShape was founded in 2018 and offers a price comparison software tool used by both brands and wholesalers. The user-friendly tool optimizes pricing strategies and monitors competitors, driving significant growth since inception. Today, the company, with close to 100 employees, serves around 600 of the world's largest retail companies.

Copilot is a lower mid-market buyout fund dedicated to nurturing the next generation of European software and data champions.

With this transaction, Copilot will support PriceShape to further strengthen PriceShape as a market leader in retail pricing with its pricing robots focusing on improving the current service and optimising the use of AI.

Plesner advised Copilot in connection with the acquisition of PriceShape (and the acquisition of Relesys earlier this year). Plesner's core M&A team on the PriceShape acquisition included Henrik Rossing Lønberg, Frederik Jastrup Brodersen and Gustav Gerner Sjalin.
