Stokke acquires Evomove, the manufacturer of the Nomi highchair
Case News
Stokke, the manufacturer of the Tripp Trapp chair, has acquired Evomove, known as the manufacturer of the award-winning Nomi highchair. Plesner has advised Stokke on the transaction.
Stokke, founded in 1932 and headquartered in Norway, is a manufacturer of premium children's furniture and accessories, including the iconic Tripp Trapp chair.
Evomove, headquartered in Denmark, is the manufacturer of the award-winning Nomi children's highchair, which - like the Tripp Trapp chair - is designed by the Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik.
The addition of Evomove marks the fourth acquisition for Stokke in the last 12 months and showcases Stokke's expertise in the highchair category globally. The intention is to bring Nomi to new markets and consumers through Stokke's global distribution footprint.
Plesner's core M&A team on the transaction was Casper Münter, Frederik Jastrup Brodersen, Louise Lund and Kasper Erikslev Lolk-Hansen.
