Two-day GDPR course
Plesner has been offering the Plesner's Data Protection Law Certificate course since 2016, and the course is still well attended. At this time, we have held more than 70 courses.
However, our certificate course is a five-day course.
We see an increasing demand for courses specifically targeted at GDPR ambassadors at authorities and undertakings and other employees in the individual administrations, offices, business units, etc.
There has been a wish for a shorter and less expensive course providing GDPR ambassadors and others with similar requirements with the basics of the GDPR as well as tools on how to apply the rules in practice.
Therefore, Plesner has developed a two-day course in response to this demand.
Course description
Day 1 – General introduction to GDPR
- Why data protection
- What is GDPR
- Introduction to the substantive rules
Day 2 - Introduction to practical implementation and controls
- Implementation of policies and procedures at the authority or the undertaking
- Self-regulation in terms of compliance with the rules
- Audit
- The Danish Data Protection Agency's expectations
