Jonas Banke

Jonas advises on large-scale proceedings related to tort law and contract law disputes, particularly in construction arbitration. Jonas advises national and international clients, including before the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board and the Danish Institute of Arbitration (DIA), as well as in commercial arbitration before both DIA and international arbitration institutions such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Jonas also advises extensively on contracts, contract negotiations and ongoing advisory services within these areas, both during the pre-contractual phase and throughout project execution. Jonas has particular expertise in complex projects and technical deliveries in the construction, energy and infrastructure sectors, including contracts and disputes relating to machinery, processing plants and other technical components - particularly in an engineering and construction context. This includes, for example, equipment and components for life science, pharmaceutical and energy projects and facilities. Jonas advises on a range of contractual frameworks, including FIDIC, AB/ABT/ABR, NL/NLM and ISO-standards, as well as many others.

Jonas also advises on energy, infrastructure and pharmaceutical projects more broadly, with a focus on the contractual and dispute-related aspects of such projects.
