Before joining Plesner, Lars was employed with the Danish Business Authority for more than 15 years, most recently as a deputy chief executive.
Lars has therefore acquired extensive experience in terms of corporate law and foundations law in particular.
Lars has long experience in handling concrete matters as well as in drafting of new legislation and administration of legislation.
Among other things, Lars was responsible for the drafting of the Danish Companies Act, which entered into force in 2010, and the new Danish Act on Operating Foundations from 2014 and the Authority's subsequent administration relating to those two acts.
Lars has extensive experience in all aspects of company law, including the formation of companies, corporate governance, national and cross-border company reorganisations, change of capital, the dissolution of companies and companies with public owners.
In addition, Lars advises both commercial foundations and non-commercial foundations on all aspects of foundation law.
Lars is the author of several books and articles on corporate law and foundations law and he has also made a large number of presentations on those subjects.
