CBS, Nordea and Plesner to launch compliance and risk management course

Copenhagen Business School, Nordea and Plesner are now launching a compliance and risk management course. The new Master of Business Development supplementary training programme “Governance, Strategic Risk Management and Compliance – Embedding Compliance into the Business” is designed for employees in the financial sector, and the first class comprises experienced profiles from the target group.

Over the years, Plesner has built strong competencies in advising clients on how to comply with increasingly complex legislation – in Denmark and the EU. Based on this solid hands-on experience in compliance, Plesner has joined forces with Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and Nordea to offer training to financial sector employees who are interested in compliance and risk management.

The course “Governance, Strategic Risk Management and Compliance – Embedding Compliance into the Business” is a specialisation (a minor) which CBS offers within a range of areas. Plesner will give lectures on compliance on this course, which includes 40 hours of teaching.

Plesner will provide a practical approach on how businesses can organise their compliance with laws, policies and other ethical standards in the best possible way.

The new CBS course is yet another part of Plesner’s increased focus on compliance. Recently, Plesner established a specialised Operational Compliance unit and employed a number of experts in the practical implementation of well-functioning compliance set-ups.

The first participants on this new course will start on 23 May 2019.
