The political agreement "A Denmark in better balance - Better framework for local authorities, citizens and businesses in the whole country" has resulted in a bill to update the Danish Planning Act which has just been out for consultation.

In June 2016, the Danish Government, the Danish Social Democratic Party, the Danish People's Party and the Danish Conservative Party entered into an agreement on "A Denmark in better balance - Better framework for local authorities, citizens and businesses in the whole country". The bill brings up to date the Danish Planning Act to give local authorities, businesses and citizens more freedom to create development and growth.
