First common Nordic tender on medicinal products expected in fall

The Danish Regions' pharmaceutical procurement service, Amgros, and the corresponding organisations in Iceland and Norway are seeking to establish a common Nordic tender on medicinal products to public hospitals.

On 31 May 2018, Amgros announced that the first two common Nordic tenders are expected in fall 2018. These will be pilot studies to gain valuable practical experience on common tenders.

The common Nordic tender process has the purpose of making the pharmaceutical markets in Denmark, Iceland and Norway more attractive to suppliers of medicinal products to public hospitals.
