Joachim Winkelmann

Joachim advises on all aspects of technology-related contracts and disputes.

Joachim has extensive experience advising on complex IT contracts, including agreements related to data, SaaS, AI, and large-scale IT projects. He assists clients throughout the lifecycle of technology projects - from structuring and negotiating contracts to resolving disputes - in a way that balances legal, technical, and commercial considerations, always with a focus on finding solutions that work in practice. 

Joachim also advises on technology aspects of M&A transactions, including transitional service agreements and integration issues.  

In addition, Joachim advises on telecom regulation and helps clients navigate the complex legal frameworks governing the sector.

Joachim regularly gives lectures on AI governance and emerging technologies and is part of Plesner's AI Taskforce.

Joachim holds an LL.B. from the University of Exeter and has experience from London, where he also worked with M&A transactions and disputes.
